To tell you the truth, I have mixed feelings about July 15th, 2018 ... first the joy, following the victory of the French soccer team in the World Cup final, then the dispair when I looked at all the missed messages and calls during the game. In fact, shortly after 5 p.m., hail ravaged our vineyard. We said goodbye to almost 60% of our production in a matter of minutes.
The 2018 cultural year will also be remembered with historic mildew pressure. Château Paloumey being involved in the organic certification process, the 2018 vintage play with our team's nerves.
Fortunately, the quality of the 2018 harvest is exceptional despite the very low yields.

"Beautiful red fruits aromas accompanied by menthol and slightly spicy notes. In the mouth, we find this fresh and crunchy fruit underlined by chocolate flavors. A very pleasant finish thanks to fine tannins and a nice length. "Pierre Cazeneuve
Wine Spectator 90-93 This has a bit more stuffing, with a loamy hint amid the steeped currant and black cherry fruit. The fleshy
